Ballroom Tango is derived from the old style Tango Canyengue.

They changed the topline embrace but kept the bent knee walk, the bows step (Corte) and rocking step (Cunita).

Don't expect to jump and hop around as in the old. The Ballroom dance populess like low impact dance.

Sharp staccato move are stll used.

Ladys Please! If you have something like a bone spur, a bad back or dislocated shoulder, tell your partner before you dance. He'll know to tone it down.

The better dancers use colorful sharp moves that can hurt these injuries.
